Automotive Photography DC (and Automotive Art DC) are websites from Illusionary Photo that are dedicated exclusively to Automotive Photography. Over the 15 year history of Illusionary Photo, we have taken tens of thousands of photos of cars which fits with our love of all things automotive.

As everyone can see, our style is very straightforward and realistic rather than overly stylized. We believe in showing cars as they were intended to be seen and allowing the beauty and function of their design to shine through.

Many of the images we have taken over the years have been for car owners who were selling their vehicles on auction sites like Bring-A-Trailer, Sotheby’s, Hemmings and other high-end, online auction sites. But as our reputation grew, we began booking more and more shoots from car enthusiasts and collectors who wanted to memorialize selections from their own collections.

After many years of printing our favorites for display in our own homes and offices, we recently decided to begin offering printing and framing services to you, our past and future customers and aficionados of automotive art.
